I thought I would share a few more pictures from the family reunion we had this summer. These pictures are of my husband's family (of 8 kids!) and all the grandkids and family together.

leftover scraps card
Hello there,
After I was finished my layout the other day, I decided to make a card using the same butterfly paper (Basic Grey) that I love so much. I added a few butterfly cutouts that are actually coloured on the other side, but I wanted something white so I just turned them around and added a jewel.
I raised my sentiment by putting thick chipboard underneath and tucked the twine under for some dimension. Quick & easy, my favourite.

an itty bitty surprise
Hello everyone, Elizabeth here with a new layout I just created...
with some beautiful pictures of my family taken this summer. If you can read the journaling... "These family pictures were taken at a family reunion just before we announced that we are expecting another baby!" Yup, it's true! Another beautiful bambino to add to our tribe. We are very excited to meet this little one in February next year. Thanks for joining in our excitement ;)

my theme this week is sweet summer. Im sure youve seen lots of summer themed pages out there since people seem to take a lot of pictures during the summer, but this is actually one of the harder themes for me to scrapbook. so, I decided to challenge myself this week and only do summer pages :)

Studio Calico...
... has some pretty awesome papers that I love! I've hoarded some that I decided to use this week. Last year I turned 40. Me, my sisters and some of my cousins got together to celebrate my birthday in the wonderful Rosendal's Garden here in Stockholm. What a lovely day! I used the fun, green back of the Midway paper (State Fair collection) and the Emerald Flocked Letter Stickers (thickers) from American Crafts.

This week I have a few fun new layouts to share with all my latest AMLT products! Lovin' my last order from AMLT and mixing it with some oldies but goodies. Another thing I'm loving: pop dots! You'll see them on this layout and another coming later this week!
Instagram is another one of my newest loves! Since I jumped on the Iphone train recently, I've loved having its easy camera + Instagram to capture some memories without lugging around my SLR camera. I created a file in Photoshop with lots of my Instagram shots and printed them out on an 8.5 x 11 paper so I could use a few on my scrappy pages. To make a few photos literally stand out, I added a few pop dots and it really brings a new dimension to the page.

Simple Summertime Scrapping - Friday
Good morning! We've come to the end of our week together. I hope you've been inspired by my simple pages to get to work preserving the memories of your summer days.
My page today uses Cosmo Cricket's "Odds & Ends" collection. I wanted to scrap my son's acceptance letter to graduate school, and our thoughts about him being college-bound once more.
